there is a story behind the plates. only few of my close friends know the inside joke.
the thing is, I have problem pronouncing the letter "V". if im speaking at normal speed and not slow down for it, it comes out as a "W". so when ever i say a word with a V in it, it sounds like a W.
therefore, for me Wiper = Viper
