just got a new 08 Si

got a good deal on a brand new 08 Si 4 door.

The lady needed a car with AC for the kid, so i figured why not replace her 06 civic with an 08 Civic Si

so far my impression is, what a fun car....

pictures to follow tomorrow!

by the way, whats a good forum (one with adults not young punks) for Si's and anyone else have any helpful information? Thanks

I found that 8thcivic.com is the good civic site on the web, a lot of good information and helpful people over there.

Congrats on the new whip!

I live here too. I guess you're more coastal? Even then, it gets hot as a mofo.

Edit: don't mean to get this sidetracked, congrats on the SI. I considered trading in my TSX for it.

Congrats I have an 08 FA5 in Fiji Blue Pearl. I'm a member over at 8th also. Congrats.

Quick things...

1. As soon as 3rd gear gets kinda notchy and starts to pop out of gear take it to the dealer. The TSB work is free and works great.
2. The AC isn't really too powerful but after reading that it doesn't get too hot it shouldnt be an issue.

ENjoy!

Congrats on your new Civic. I am not registered on 8thgen, but I found some good reviews about HIDs I bought a while ago over there.

Great choice! If I could recommend anything it would be the HFP Suspension. Although, this could be a difficult decision to make, if your wife will be driving it mostly with the kid. 8thcivic is great. You'll see me over there. Let me know if you have any questions.

You can get a Hyundai Accent with no A/C, no radio, and manual windows, mirrors, and locks. Does have power steering and brakes, though. No ABS...don't stretch your luck.

To the OP...congrats on the new ride. I'm sure you'll enjoy it for years to come.
