Flat out, power-sliding in a Corvette ZR-1 at a hundred miles an hour was probably the wrong place to mockingly ask NASCAR driver Juan Pablo Montoya if he was "having fun turning right." Don't worry, he punished me for it.

I haven't been a Corvette fan since GM removed the Stingray shark fenders. BUT, the ZR-1, I must admit looks good and is a beast, as you can see from the vid. I did want to see him break the rear tire in a turn though.

That looked like a blast. It seems that the only real chink in the ZR1's armor are the tires.....especially with JPM at the helm (whose tire treatment was probably the reason for his fade to 7th yesterday at Michigan).

If any of you get to drive even a Z06 do it. I've had my old bosses Z06 a few nights to take home, and I've had it at the drag strip and a road course, and let me tell you, it's fun drifting a $100,000 car around a track.
