It'll be awhile before I lower it.
I'm just completely satisfied with my car right now. I'll probably lower the car when I get a mod itch or Bilstein runs some random discount promotion or something.
The car pulls very well and the handling is pretty damn neutral as is. Just got her some seafoam treatment and did the its 6th engine oil change. The car only has 17k miles on it.

There are so many versions of this. I've seen them all probably. It's design is definitely controversial, that's for sure!
It's all good though, not many people get to see the front end when they race.

I hate to say it, but the stock (i.e. soft) suspension is what caused that bracket to break. Those on the CL side that have the stock suspension or a soft setup with an aftermarket sway bar tend to break the endlink brackets all the time. Basically, instead of setting up the suspension to work in unison, you put a much stiffer bar in the rear (thats what she said!), which is now trying to work against the suspension, not with it.

WOW. I didn't check Car Talk for the past couple weeks and happened to check it today. This happens. lol
I saw my thread in the page 1, and I was like uh..... what's going on? haha
I actually was going to update my thread because I'm thinking of getting a FR-S. Just checked it out yesterday. But it's going to be pretty tough to get one though. No dealerships have any white one with a manual transmission in stock.
If it's too hard to get one, I'll just lower my car and be happy with it.
The car has been fantastic still, it's been three years and still only have 18k miles on it. No problem whatsoever. Don't know how much I can get for my car if I decide to sell it, but yeah, it's been great!

the only thing that stops me from parting my genesis and getting FR-S...
there's already like 10 driving around my neighborhood..
and i believe 3 of them are sponsored cars.. lol

I've only seen like 3 FRS total since it was released. Kinda surprised considering that I live in Alhambra where all the ricers are gathered around.
I like the car a lot though. I don't know what kind of deal I can get for the car. Full MSRP I assume?

I'd get the brz if I were you, I just wouldn't want to own a scion may be that sounds dumb but I just like the brz more and this is coming from an Evo owner lol. I think you'll miss the performance but love the looks and coupe feel more, although there's no room in the back seats I hope you newly weds aren't expecting a bundle of joy any time soon.

I'll check it out though, that's for sure.
And we are planning to have a baby at least 3 years later, so I think we'll be alright.
I do have a question for you guys.
If you were in my position, how would you sell my car?
Stock it out and trade in? Stock it out and sell it privately? Just leave it as is and trade in or sell it privately?
I'm not in a hurry to sell the car at all, so what would give me the most value for my car?
My car is 2010 Mazdaspeed3 and has 19500 miles on it. Next month will be its 3rd birthday. haha

Will do that.
Thanks! Hopefully it will sell as is! Too lazy to put it back to stock even though there aren't any hard ones.
Are kbb values pretty credible these days? It says I can get like $19k for trade in with good condition.

Dont trust KBB for dealer trade in prices. Dealers use the Black Book for trade values. Its always lower then Blue Book prices.
