Still no clutch, supposedly Spec built me an "updated" unit, so they didn't ship it out until last Wednesday. UPS scheduled delivery is Monday, so I'll hopefully have it in before the weekend (working intermittently throughout the week after work).
I hope to have the exhaust 75% done by the end of the day tomorrow, I can't build the downpipe until the trans is back in the car D: So many fvking things being put at a standstill by the clutch

Join the club. My clutch is on back-order, hopefully I get an update on Monday. Its slowing down my build. ![Annoyed](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/annoyed.gif)
Your exhaust looks good, but I wouldve tucked the muffler up allittle more.
The car still looks good, even on jackstands

Super annoying waiting on shtuff. Ah well, I guess that's how things go. What're you up to with your build?
The muffler is absolutely as high as it can be. The tip is a few mm away from the rear lip, and the body is level to the ground. Just keep in mind you're seeing it at eyelevel, which it will never be, cuz the car is slammed. It's more tucked than my duals were

Damn. My thread is a ghost town, lol.
And there it is. Mmm for a fully garage-built 3" mendrel-bent turbo-back exhaust.
New downpipe, tacked together but complete:

Magnaflow metal catalyst spun cat with new 3" 3-bolt flanges tacked. The goal was to have a fully removable/replaceable cat that mated the exhaust and the downpipe:

Completed downpipe. Fully welded v-band flange and 3" 3-bolt flange as well as two O2 bungs for wideband and narrowband:

The one thing I didn't take any pics of is the one-off up-pipe I fabbed up alongside building the exhaust. I wish I had, because it has an integrated mount to the starter bolt for rigidity, as well as a custom wastegate flange that directs the wastegate exhaust straight down and out.

Thanks fellas. This is going to be a terrible, terrible car once done. Watchdaheck out modded v8's. Mmm.
And civicdrivr, I was trolling around late last night and saw that you bought cls-6's turbo kit. I hope you plan to mod/replace every last part of it, both because the XS kit suggs and because joeshmo was involved. That guy...holy hack. Anyways, spill the build details. I'm really looking forward to them...

To answer your question, yes a build is involved. Its not going to be super spectacular, but its going to be something, especially with the other little odds and ends I have planned for the car as a whole.
Ill definately keep you updated though

but also i think for making an exhaust for a car the first time, it is easier and cheaper to build it out of regular steel the first time, then you can redo it with ss at a later date, also i know ss is harder to weld or something then regular steel

he made it himself, so it is not that much to replace![Roll Eyes](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
