Not a problem. Thanks for responding. I have RacingHart C2s and am wanting a 9" wide wheel so i can get a 275 tire on it (mine are 8) just looking to see options as i like the wheel and finding them in offset/width that im looking for is next to impossible

Looking good, nice job on the strut tower work.

Those were my exact thoughts when I decided to rebuild mine. Idk what it is about these wheels, but I think I'll own them forever. Finding them in better specs was essentially impossible, and the new setup brought them back to life again.

I have a friend who is also considering rebuilding some C2's. They are gorgeous wheels, and with modern-ish specs, the resale has the potential to cover any/all rebuild costs

Revival! This car is my poison. Graduating medical school in May, so be ready for yet another complete motor/tutbo/trans revamp in time for summer!

Can't believe you're still beating your head against the wall with this car. Maybe time to buy something that lends itself to being fast?

^ Haha, no worries, but you've got it all wrong bud! If you don't plan for failures, you will 100% be disappointed along the way, no matter what the platform is. The best part about this car is that there's literally only one in the world, complete motors can be had for $200, and people shit their pants when they see a V6 Accord pulling on cars that "lend themselves to being fast."

I'm not banging my head against a wall with this car, this is part of the fun for me

Understood.

Have you had it to a point where it ran well and were able to enjoy it for a while?

Absolutely, I drove it daily for about a year-and-a-half between the cato's. It's pretty quick! This new setup will legitimize the car though, I'll be building the motor and fabbin' a turbo manifold. After that, I hope for a few runs down the track!

The AEM EMS basically did everything I needed to get a good tune on the car @ 9psi. The only persistent issue I've had is cold starts...it takes over a minute of intermittent cranking to get the car to fire. AEM is baffled...

Nice car I have a question. How did you do modification on trunk lid to cancel out the lights and reflective strip on it? Was it filled with something or is there another trunk lid that is compatible with the one for Honda Accord?

OP has not logged in since July 2016. I will tag them and they will get a notification, but it is highly unlikely they will see this.
