That's the GVWR or Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, which means the maximum weight the car including people, gas, cargo etc. can take. Curb weight is what you look at.

oh, so thats what it is. yeah, i was about to say, itd be odd knowing a 2600 lb. car would be listed @ 3600. thanks.
