The much-touted Lamborghini Gallardo in use by the Italian Policia is out of action. Details are sketchy, but apparently, the lug nuts on a rear wheel went "missing" while the car was getting gas at a service station. The highway patrol car became even more damaged during the recovery procedure.

I'd love to see the cops try and get out of that car quickly let alone gracefully at the end of a high speed chase were pursuit continues on foot...
