Bullshit. You know how much I made that night after working 8 hours? $44. $5.50 an hour on tips plus my amazing $2.13 hourly wage equals $7.63 an hour for parking 29 cars. That's not shit. Last night I worked 6 hours and made $20. I'll let you do the math on that one. I'm about to give this job the boot and work elsewhere.
But yes that M3 was fucking hot. I didn't floor it but I let it rip through first and second. What an amazing car. Screw having a TL and S2k later in life, I just want one of those.
I would love to see that happen man! Do it!

That would be me. I wasn't impressed with the interior but that thing flew. I enjoyed driving the M3 more though.

As you get older you will realize its much cooler to be the guy handing off the keys to such cars than the person taking the keys from the owner. While he may get a taste of what its like to drive such amazing machines, the owners get to enjoy them every day.

I was behind a brand new LS450L yesterday on the way home from work, I like the changes to the rear fascia, slightly more aggressive IMO.

at our company, we should be able to open up a bmw outdoor showroom.
President - M6
VP of OPS - M5
VP of ENG - 335
VP of Support - Z3 M Roadster
Service Manager - 330i convertible
Hardware Manager - 335 convertible
Software Manager - 540
althought i work in the office, i park in production parking lot as i fit in better there with the corollas and civics, it makes my CL-S standout more.

forget the Director of HR who drives X5 M. damn it, only if i get paid better, i'd buy a yellow NSX and park in between all of them. but then again, they would let me go on EI the following week.

I think its design features are way to much in common with toyota. The whole beefing up the exterior to make it more aggressive. Everytime I see a lexus ls, I am always reminded of a toyota camry. More so for the ES. That's not what I want when I buy a 80k+ car.

Everytime I look at surfer rick's pics I ask myself why am I not becoming a doctor and going toward the engineering field. As a bioengineer major I can pretty much choose either.

I saw the new XKR on the street, it definitely has presence. I love the design direction Jaguar has been heading lately, definitely Aston-like.

I'm assuming you meant the LS460L? I agree, I do like the new subtle changes. The front is a bit more masculine. I do prefer the older tail lights though, the ones without the amber turn signals.
That's horseshit. I always flow $5-10 spot to valet and sometimes $20 if they let me park in front. You guys are busting your ass running around, not easy work.
Granted it's not the hardest job in the world, but it's harder than some people may think. I work Friday and Saturday nights from 3-11 and I'm constantly running around and parking cars. Luckily at the location that I work, the run isn't too far. When you park 45 cars in a span of a few hours though, the distance is dreadful. It's even worse when it rains. On a positive note, because of this job I've lost 25 pounds this summer (194 down to 169).
I'm not saying ALL people don't tip well, but I would say 2 out of 5 cars don't tip. I know it's not my personality affecting tips because I know I'm a people person. Ask anyone here on Acurazine that has met me, I enjoy being around people and working with people. That trait and my love for cars is what really pushed me to get this job, but sadly it's not working out. It's not worth to waste over half my weekend running around a parking lot, sweating my balls off, for the money I make. It's funny to see people's facial expressions when I tell them how much we get paid per hour. Most people think we make minimum wage + tips. I wish.
/rant. Sorry for turning this thread into my valet experiences.

Damn dude. Never realized how shitty the pay is. I think the job just looks cool to me at my age since I don't really need the money since I'm only 17 and driving nice cars for a job just sounds awesome.

I'm not saying it's a terrible job but it's not the best thing in the world. You realize quickly how stingy or thankful people are.

997 Turbo. The license plate says "Turbo" as if I couldn't read the insignia on the rear fascia
E63 AMG. Underwhelming style IMO but cannot argue with the HP and straightline acceleration.

I can't stand people that get a custom plate saying what kind of car it is when it clearly says it on the back. That's like me getting "Acura TL" as a plate

This is for CLtotheTL32 and Steve Bell...
Pulled into work this AM and I was floored to see this badboy, still rocking the paper plates.
This is why I work 9 hours a day

So Tyler what would you say is your favorite car among the ones you've parked thus far?
we really like ours, the wifey cannot seem to get enough of it; hands down the smoothest car I've ever driven.

Even though the interior is meh, I enjoyed driving the GT-R. The brute force of that thing is crazy. Plus I got a lot of attention while driving. I felt cool for a few minutes
Wtf you have an LS as well? Where did you find the money tree? I have yet to find one. But yes the LS is a downright gorgeous car. I would love to have one. Of course mine wouldn't be stock though

My favorite luxury car that I've parked is the S63. Sexy, luxurious, and has a nice growl to it

I love them both but to me the F-car is my ultimate dream car. Hopefully I will procure one before my 40th birthday but until then I'm happy with my 911. It certainly makes for a great daily driver and in my 3 years of ownership I still get the same thrill as the day I picked her up.

I parked this LS460 a few weeks back. It had some sort of sport package on it and I like it!

I didn't have the opportunity to sit behind the wheel of this one but I got to look at it for a few hours yesterday:
