Insurance claim question...
Okay, so about a week ago, I discovered that something hard did a number on my trunk and passengerside back quarterpanel. So, I have a dent, and paint chips exposing the metal and etc.
Well, that being said...I'll likely claim insurance on this. However, my question is, I have a dent (likely from a door) on the other side. So, here are my questions:
Can I claim both at once? And what do I say on the police report if I am claiming both--just that I discovered them both at once? What if I want to claim my snow-plowed front lip's cracked paint (which I induced by...plowing ice once) on this same claim; could I do so?
Thanks in advance!

if ur making a claim for the trunk and panel, the insurance company usually pays out more than what the job is worth so talk to a few bodyshops and ask them if they can fix the other things. if they are cool they'll do it, or they might ask for a few bux.
the body shops i go to here in brooklyn never charge me my deductable ($500). they make enough money from the insurance company. one bodyshop i went to made a little more damage to the car so insurance would give more money.

Are you saying that the bodyshops just ask for it all directly from your insurance? If so, I should go to NY to fix my car.

Yes, some shops will generally ask for more money from the ins co. to cover your deductible if they are cool with you. Alot of shops will not do it anymore though.

Here's hoping.

So, I guess I'll just flatout ask if the bodyshop is willing to charge more to insurance so I escape my deductable!
