Installing h3 HID fogs on a lexus

Posting this for my buddy who has a 2003 es300. He purchased some plug and play h3 fogs, but we cant figure out how to wire them. Since h3 bulbs only have the positive wire connection, do you just ground the ballasts out individually and connect the factory fog harnesses to the positive on the ballasts?

Thanks,
Zac

are the stock bulbs in the ES H3? if it's anything like the first gen TL, it might have H3c bulbs in which case i can help you out with the install.

without seeing a picture of the HID setup/the stock bulb wiring the only thing i can suggest is to try grounding the ballast to the chassis of the car. i'd probably go onto ClubLexus though or any other lexus forum and see if you cant find the answer you're looking for.
