Infiniti Q45 exhaust

I am looking for everyones opinion (both positive and negative) on how the exhaust looks on the Q45. Although I no longer have this car a friend of mine is interested in having me do the same thing to his car. I went through several experimental phases, finally settling on what you see below.

I like how it looks running out of the side (except for the original bumper cutout for the muffler). I pretty much just cut the OEM pipe from behind the rear cats and ran 2.5" pipe to huge ass flowmaster 70 series mufflers. I wasnt looking for performance but simply a new look and a sublte sound change. The only other new idea I have for my friends is just dumping the exhaust right after the mufflers

Put some Magnaflow mufflers on that thing and you'd be fine.

Why. The only cars that can get away with side exhaust like that are Monte Carlos, Cutlass', Regals and old school F Bods. Other than that, its all trucks.

bored in college with my brothers car. free parts, labor is done myself. never had seen a q45 with different exhaust and i really wanted the flowmasters on there. i was playing around with a bunch of different ways to run the pipes. this was the last setup before the car was sold. if i were to do it over i probably would run the pipes back to the cut out in the bumper and leave some low profile tips on there.

That exhaust works well on a pickup (and seems to be common site in central Florida) but !! It doesnt work for me on the Q.

But if I owned a QX56, I'd be interested in that setup.
