The sticker price on mine was $37,270. I got it for $34,500. Mine isn't the G37S though, it is just the Journey model.

I was driving down a street at like 25-30mph and a squirrel challenged me as it was running across the street..I slowed down to avoid it...I thought it stopped before I passed it, but I guess my car (GTI)was low enough that I clocked it and knocked it out...All I know was I looked in my rear view mirror and just saw it lying there in the street.

There was a bunch of loud banging but I don't think I would call them amazing

lotus elise vs. raccoon

my brother was driving 80mph in his Turbo'ed Lotus on a 2 lane highway and a raccoon ran out infront of him. He decided to take it head on rather than dodge it and risk hitting a tree. Shattered the shell of the car, the damage ran over $15,000. The car was only 2 months old too.

Wow, that's a lot more damage than I was expecting. Glad there weren't guts all over the front. That would've sucked to clean off. Look at the bright side, at least it wasn't a deer. Oh wait, you live in Florida, at least it wasn't a gator.

I used to have a 96 Protege (Winter car) and I hit a raccoon at about 50MPH. Bumper, Radiator, A/C condenser and an alignment later, the car was normal again....The thing was HUGE

WOW, that must of been a big raccoon. Glad the damage is limited to the bumper. Hopefully you will get the sport bumper out of it.

bumper damage is always a great excuse to go aftermarket or factory upgrade. hell, even an aftermarket bumper could run you cheaper than a stock fix.

do the G37 coupes come with no front license plate bracket at all? i know it looks better w/o a front plate, but maybe with a front plate bracket would've taken more of the impact of the raccoon than the bumper itself?

The G35 doesn't come with a bracket and in PA, I don't need it.

I think there are one or two lip kits for the G37 but they are for the sport model bumper.
