I'm schizophrenic

Some days I convince myself I'm going to by an RS6 or E55 as my next car.

Then other days I think, well, 90% of the time I'm driving to and from work in moderate traffic so what's the point? maybe I'll just get a G35X or something like that that is all weather friendly.

Under option number two, I could add a summer car later on that would be for pure enjoyment on the weekends

I need help.....

That's the isse I have these days..........do I go out an get an RS4 for almost $70k? I'm not going to get an RS4 and drive it in the snow, so what's the point.

Might as well get a "descent car" and work up to getting a toy later.

I'm in a different position now, very close to buying a piece of property (expensive as shit).

Not terribly easy on a single income on LI, I'll manage......but for now the days of having $100k in 2 cars is over.

Hemant,

I don't know if I would recommend any MB product (esp AMG). My bro's C32 has been nothing but going to the 'workshop' for various repairs. I can only imagine what the bills would be if they WEREN'T under warranty. He estimates the parts + labour on the various problems would be close to C$10k (an ABS sensor alone costed C$1500! Imagine the cost to change one of the 3 'main computers' in the car he had done earlier this year!)

Get a lower priced 'daily driver' (eg G35x or equivalent) and get a toy car for the weekend. That's my advice to you. How can you have fun if your car's in the shop? Plus ... if your main car is doing city traffic ... how much enjoyment is that? All you're doing is paying more at the pump because gridlock = 0mpg.
