Swap out those ugly wheels and put some Tein SS w/ EDFC and get the Progress RSB if you want to spice things up. Thats like $4k right there, have fun!

I know what you mean about the torque steer. I've come close a few times when starting off on a turn putting the front wheel right into a curb. But, I've learned how to control it now by just being a bit smoother with the throttle. Been pretty happy with it since.

But yea, you bought the wrong car if you thought you were going to mod the heck out of it. I bought mine because I DIDN'T want to mod anymore (former TSX owner). Only thing I've added was a CAI so I can actually hear the engine when Im in the upper revs. Other then that, I wont be touching anything else.

 

Dump it, get another car, or suck it up.

 

If you wanted a sedan that was highly moddable you shoulda looked at the '07 WRX/STI or the B7 A4 2.0T.

I will have to give it a little more time to grow on me. Man you guys are rough on the newb. I didn't say I am a total TL Hater now. I m just saying.... I'm bored not Hate.

But I'll see if coil-overs and some new rims will spice things up for me. I am not a heavy modification guy either. Just a daily driver with some nice suspension set up / rims and in this case OEM aeros, will probably do for me.

 

For me the TL is the first car I've had that I haven't gotten bored of yet. I've had 2 Mustangs (one V6 and on GT), and a 04 Maxima, and I've gotten rid of all of them within 18 months of getting them. I still have the Ford Escort, but only because it's been paid off for the past 7 and half years. Even the g35 I leased back in 06 I don't think I'd would have wanted to keep for more than a couple of years which is one reason why I leased it in the first place.

I still like my TL and still not bored with it. It's just starting to piss me off a little. Especially with the damn voice recognition. That thing NEVER recognizes my voice when I try to voice dial a number, if I say "404" it will think I said "00404". If I say "770", it will think I said "823" or some shit like that, that sound NOTHING like what I really said. That really pisses me off. Then the damn 3rd gear still pops out occasionally.

Other than that I think I'll keep this car for a while. Other than the Escort, this will be the first car that I would have kept long enough to pay it off; 1 year 10 months to go! I came very close to trading it in for a TypeS, but wisely decided against it.

Generally I Google mods for a car before i purchase it if that will end up being a deal breaker for me

 

im not board with my integra after 6 years. that car still amazes me. the 02 TL-S is awsome to.

 

my girlfriend asked me if when the TL-S crapps out if we can get another one and i said hell yeah we can i love this car. plus it is faster than most bimmers and benzes out there. so i am not complaining. I love acuras always have always will.

 

Shit, if you have the money, get some custom DPE's or something. =) They'll fit around the factory brembos

 

Just do what everyone else is doing..get a BMW 335 coupe ...if u get bored with that car in a month...ur screwed for life.
