Of those, G35

Not on your list, but in the price range for Luxury Sport, I'd pick an IS350.
I'll not go as far as to recommend the S60R, which I personally love mine, but you can get those for $35k new also.

This is an easy choice - Infiniti G35 sedan wins hands down!
Now, the Acura TL-S sounds attractive too, but since it is going to have a major model year change next year, I certainly don't want to buy a car now and then have it become an "older" model within a year....

Quite a eclectic array of choices. Volvo S60R, used 3-series, IS350, used Audi S4 seem to be not on your list. But I do see a trend of Japanese imports so I won't say anything more.
Of your list, I would say a 2007 G35 would be more of a lateral move in cars from your 2004 TL. Not to hate on the Subaru or Mitsu, those cars are very "raw" and may feel like a couple steps down than what you are accustomed.

From vortex
"Driven by professional DRIVER Keiichi Tsuchiya TL-S, G35, IS350 were going at Willow Springs, CA race track.
TL-S, and FWD, prevail in this one. The FWD vehicle with less advertised POWER beat both RWD cars FULL 2 seconds.
1. TL-S 6MT - 1:36:67 sec
2. IS350 - 1:38:24
3. G35 6MT - 1:38:67
Pics from the Japanese magazine the article was in.

Get a base 335i; you WON'T be deceived.

Hey Saintor didn't you used to have a TSX? Of course I would like a BMW too, but the 335i is at least $5-6K more expensive comparably equipped as the the G35, TL-S, and IS350.

Never owned a TSX, but a few Hondas.
335i bi-turbo is 38900$+775$TTP and at that price it comes rather complete, with sunroof, 17", power seats and 4-yrs free maintenance.
After driving one, there is no coming back (well almost).

My dad just got the 07 Infiniti G35 S sedan, my favorite car I have ever driven! Luxury is incredible, speed is amazing, handling is top-notch, and the styling is awesome! He used to have the coupe, but they go through rear tires very quickly, I dont really know how though because he didnt drive it like a maniac, only every now and then But for sure the Infinity G35 S!!!

06 Mitsubishi Evo IX
07 Inifinity G35S Sedan or 07 Infinity G35coupe
07 Acura Tl Type S
07 Subaru STI
07 Mazdaspeed 3
I need a car that is faster and better performing than my TL that is why I choose the above.
Thanks!!

The speed3 is pretty peppy but I still personally take the Type S.

your list is all over the place. i get the luxury or speed thing but how can you say a sti or mazda speed 3? i dont know of too many chicks 25+ that want to be driven around in an evo or an sti and going from an acura to evo or an sti is going to be a big jump. you need a sports luxury car, not a luxury, not a sports. g35, 335i fit the bill. also if you want the fun of an sti, but refined then check out the Legacy GT spec B or LTD.
good luck

well for me if you want perfomance and potential go with STi but if you want luxury and some performance i would go with a year old M3 you can get them in your price range just not brand new
oh and about the G35 yeah its a nice car but you only see about 100 of them a day same story as the 350Z
