I'm surprised the state hasn't just made speeding tickets a million bucks a pop. Clearly we all have the money to spend on that sort of thing.

And if you aren't limping or in a wheelchair when you get out of the car, then an automated machine should whack you in the shins.
Although, I occassionally drop off my wife's grandmother at the curb and then park in a handicapped spot - which is legit.

In Portland they'll just tow your ass and it will cost you a good $1,000 to $2,000 to get it back. Towing fee, impound fee, court fee, office fee, charge fee, credit card fee, vehicle extraction fee, vehicle storage fee, and oxygen fee.

One on the right for me
Is that ok? I haven't exactly read all the rules with a placard. My dad has a temp tag because he is still recovering from a stroke. Often I'll drop him off and then park in a spot - so he can walk to the car when whatever we are doing is over. I've been kind of freaked out if some dipshit parking person sees me just pull in. I don't need to deal with the hassle of sorting everything out.
