Trying to park this beast at 5 am. When I first got the truck.

There was barely room to open the door on the passenger side.

I wouldmt take a single chance on scratching my truck.
Got it in because it was possible. Even if there was a chance of scratching it, I would have stopped.

And just because you are incapable of doing something doesnt mean that others are idiots for doing it.

I don't think he knows that was you. If he did, he probably would have commended you. Steven isn't really one to insult people.

I'm sorry, but I agree with Steven. It doesn't matter if you did or didn't scratch the truck. The fact of the matter is you made a complete asshole of yourself to whoever you parked next to you, & put the truck at risk of a ding by someone else.

if any thing, the guy next to me was an asshole by parking his car too close to the line in between us.

And even if I did put the truck at risk of getting dinged/scratched, it is my truck/car, not yours. I CAN FIX IT! 99.9% of people out there cant.

I dont understand how you guys can draw up conclusions without knowing the story behind it. Do I feel like I did something wrong, or made an ass of myself, ABSOLUTELY NOT. Do i feel like you guys are completely ignorant, ABSOLUTELY YES.

I put over 50k miles on my cars last year. WITHOUT A SINGLE DAMAGE coming from me.
any ways, I dont need to prove my driving/parking skills to anyone here or show how confident I am. so continue on with the thread.

Judging by the fact you couldn't even get your front left tire past the pillar, I doubt it would have made a difference how close he was to the line; you'd still be next to him.

Upset much b/c you got called out on parking like a douche?

No one here questions your amazing parking skills, bud. It's the fact you parked in a space your truck was too big for to begin with. There is no story to be told; the pictures say it all. Though, it is funny how it went from, "I wouldn't put my truck in danger" to "I can fix it anyway".

But hey, you've got money & hang out with a rich crowd. Nothing leads people more to entitlement than that itself.

Upset because I was insulted wrongfully. Front tire didnt go past the pillar because there was no more room in the back.
Makes me laugh a little at your judgement.

sounds like you are getting butt hurt because "I parked my truck in a small spot"?
And no, it went I wouldnt put my truck in danger of scratching it myself and even if it did, I can fix it myself, not how you re-worded it.

have any more question?

and what does this shit has anything to do with me having money or hanging around rich crowd and entitlement? talk about blowing it out of proportion, or should I say, hate much?

feel like Im dealing with a kid here.

What's wrong about it? In Steven's opinion & mine, you parked like an ass.
sounds like you are getting butt hurt because "I parked my truck in a small spot"?
Grasping for straws now. Why would I be butt hurt about how you parked you truck like an asshole? I'm just agreeing with Steven Bell's post. You took offense to it.

Hate much?

Go back to the insult bin & choose something that's not another form of "hater" like everyone jumps to these days when they don't like what people have to say.

In case you're wondering, I'm mocking your holier-than-thou attitude:
And just because you are incapable of doing something doesnt mean that others are idiots for doing it.

You reek of a person who throws himself on a peddle stool, sitting here claiming others are incapable of doing what you did (b/c parking in a tight spot=F1 level skills) or bragging about how you put 50,000 miles on your cars without doing any of the damage yourself.

No one here ever questioned your skills or asked to show how confident you are in your abilities. I'm sure you're quite capable of parking your truck in tight spots without scratching it just as you're capable of taking part in high speed street racing.

It doesn't change the fact people are going to think you're an idiot for one or the other, but you don't seem to take very well to criticism of your abilities & are quick to exclaim people just can't do what you do.

You go, you.

Ofcourse I will take an offense to someone calling me an asshole/idiot. I think you are a retarded dumbass for calling me one, my opinion.
and I take back my bragging and skills, should have known better.

and yes, incapable people will think will frown upon this act. Criticism I can deal with, insult I respond quick to.

Lol, mkay then.

And your judgement that people who think what you did is stupid are incapable of it to begin with is still laughable. Anybody with a sense of direction & checking their mirrors can park in a tight spot. Whether or not it was an act of actually using common sense is another. That seems to the thing you're not understanding & are quick to believe what you did took some sort of skill the people who frown upon it are jelly of.

But hey, like you said, it's your truck. I just find it stupid to take such a risk of it getting damaged, whether or not you would be the one doing so. For all you know, that asshole in the RSX could have easily just opened their door into you. It'd be a dick move on his part, but it'd be impossible to say there wasn't a high risk of it happening when you decided to park there anyway knowing it'd be a tight fit.

That's all I'm saying & will say. Have a nice night.

"Peddle stool"? I think you meant "pedestal".

Sorry, couldn't let that go given the tone of the pissing match.

But please continue the e-fight

I don't know, I think the criticism lobbed at nspec over a parking job is pretty over the top. He parked a car; he didn't eat a baby. Good grief. Would I park like that? Probably not. Do I really care? No.

Tim, you were thanked for your post because somehow you incorporated the idea of "eating a baby" into this thread. I applaud your creativity.

I honestly cant believe someone will have a heart attack over the internet over my parking job. But its my fault since I forgot that most of people bitching and starting shit about everything online have nothing better to do.

On shit, here is a picture of one of em

now give yourself a good fist pump.

Rick, next time Im in Dallas, how about we meet up at the Londoner for drinks, on me and talk about this face to face and work this out. lets not waste our time here. A 100% friendly invite.

I actually wish I could some how thank myself for this post, but azine doesnt let me do that and pat myself on the back. I think I did a hell of a job on parking this thing and will do it again.

not sure why you're saying clearly 3x...i only said it once.

anyway, seems like you don't take criticism or other peoples views very well. it's okay if other people have opnions that differ from yours, thats what makes the world go round. calm down buddy.

in closing, i do think i know what the f i'm talking about. your gimungous truck looks ridiculous parked in that tiny parking spot. it didn't even fit. the front end is hanging out well over the line. parking spots are a certain size for a reason and you had no business playing tetris at 5am that day.

Quick Reply: I wish all parking spots were this big...
