You're probably right.
In that case, I would still stick with 50+ HP Auto
While BMW handling cannot be beat, I like the interior and exterior of the IS better and the paddle shifting is cool too.... plus they are the same price and Toyota vs BMW reliability...

Correct, I was referring to the 330.
I would rather have the 350 for all the reasons you mentioned but if I am getting a sports sedan I am getting a manual. F that paddle shifting crap
But I am sure a manual 350 is just a couple years off

With 277 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm [1], the IS 350 can achieve an astounding 0-60 acceleration time of 5.3 seconds [3], which is fastest in its class [3]. The IS 250 is briskly propelled by a 2.5-liter 204-hp V6 [1] with 185 lb-ft of torque [1].
Umm, Ill take the 306 HP AUto > 204 HP manual ANYDAY

Even though I would have gone with something else, it's still a nice car.

Thanks Acura.
Nice car Ken.
Too bad they don’t have a manual tranny with the V6. Other then that I hear it’s an awesome ride.
PS…. When you abandon Acura for not making a COUPE, you’re supposed to buy another company’s COUPE.

Is it cuz I said ill take an automatic with 100+ HP over a manual? Obviously if the HP was the same (or even close) it would be manual all the way. But dont give me that bullshit that a manual with 100 less horsepower is something u would want on the same car.

Thanks guys.
I really love the time but I'm not finding any time to really get into it like I want to. Working during the daylight hours so pics are hard to come by. But this weekend I promise....
So I paid MSRP since I pretty much went to the dealership in August about this car, left a deposit, and waited to get exactly what I wanted.
Which is basically an almost fully loaded car, every option except PCS and laser cruise. Otherwise, it has everything from the luxury package to Navi to pretty much every option. I think it was about right around $47k. I probably got ripped on my CL trade in but since it was free and clear, every little bit helped and I'm so glad to get out of it since I had the feeling the CL is going to "crash" on me.
Anyway the IS350 is way too fast, it's much more comfortable ride, and I really like the new external looks. I will never go manual shift again so the auto with paddle shifting is perfect. And I didn't want the 2-door couple any longer...if only the RL was cheaper and looked a little bit better, I might have considered it this summer.
So I'll post pics this weekend and since it will play movies and dvds on the stock Nav, I won't have to think about other mods just yet.

and everything is in a package. You cant get anything separate.
But I definitely love it..

Congrats Ken!
I test drove the 350 a couple weeks ago, and really like it. Its a truly great car.
My only complaint was the uber lag in the paddle shifters....same issue I had with the auto tranny in the is300.
But, I still love the car and you will too.

I've haven't researched the RL lately so the prices might have come down, I just remember seeing sticker shock when they first came out and when I first wanted one. I quickly lost interest and then I discovered the IS350.
You have to be in park to play DVDs on the Navi screen...until I implement my first mod which will be to bypass this. BTW, you can't put in a new destination in the Navi while you are driving, you have to stop first. But that workaround is easy to fix.
