I went to my eye doctor and he said to try these glasses...That SH.. dosen't work, the glasses are anti reflective but there still not what I want. I had my windsheild tinted on my old car and it worked preety good. I'm gonna go back soon and talk to him about it but is there like a special form I need for him to sign or something? Cops dont fall for that anymore. Notes dont help unless you have some type of special glasses on. Either abide by the law or take the risk of getting a ticket. You should be "deadsetongettingpulledover"

I am a physician and I am sorry for sounding harsh, but if you are 19 and you have an eye condition that does not allow you to drive without tinted glass, maybe you should not be driving...

Been driving for a few years with the same prob..No trouble yet.. When a car/truck is approaching me on a 2 lane street I get temp blinded by the headlights. Dosen't last long but could cause and accident if I'm not careful. I started wearing glasses before I started driving and they helped slightly, but the new carl zeiss anti reflectives help let my eyes recover faster but they still don't diminish the blinding feeling. When I had the front windhield tint on my other car and I never had this problem I'm now in a area where police presence is prominent and I don't want to be pulled over and issued a fix it ticket. Can anyone help me please?

When ever you get pulled just get your eye doctor note out and put on you special glasses, this should sure do the trick. If it doesnt work tell em to screw off and ask he/she dont you have anything else better to do!

Just throwing this possible solution out there for you DON'T STARE AT FUCKING HEADLIGHTS. They will blind most anyone who stares at them when they are coming towards you. If you can back this up with some legit medical reason I'll be shocked, sounds like you just need to learn to drive at night.

Just look at the yellow lane line to your right whenever there is on-coming traffic...that's what I do.

Whenever I'm blinded by on-coming traffic, I look at the lane line to the right as to avoid on-coming headlights and make sure I don't drive off the road in the process...

When was the last time you seen PG county police pull anybody over? Now the state troopers might be a problem.

I didn't mean to come across as a complete dick with my first post, but I have a friend with eye cancer(didn't even know it existed before he was diagnosed) and he doesn't whine about stuff like this. He's had 2 or 3 surgeries on his eyes, is partially blind in one eye and can't expose his eyes to direct sunlight period(has to wear sunglasses everywhere) and driving is one thing he can do with no problem.

On the serious note, there is an eye condition where the cones? (maybe the other doo-dads in ur eye) react very slowly and you will be blinded by headlights very easily, my friend has it and she has to wear sunglasses bascially whenever she's outside (yes even @ night).

Well, if you seriously need it, just ask your optometrist or optomologist. However, I seriously doubt he'll give you anything.

My tint shop had a prescription form (I still have it in my car.) They told me to go to the eye doctor and just squint a lot when he puts the light in your eye. You can only get a prescription for 35 percent. I wanted 15%, so I just didn't mess with it.

I got a letter after I told my doctor my skin was sensitive to the sunlight when driving (I drive A LOT) Gave me a letter explaining in depth why I needed it and sure enough I got pulled over 1 month later and the officer told me to have a nice day. No problems since then with gettng pulled over.

Had nothing to do with my eyes though.

I would suggest really good polarized driving glasses, like Maui Jims. At least around here, if you tint the windshield you're just asking for trouble...note or no note.

Not sure what type of physician you are, but, there are alot of people with eye conditions that could require them to have/get tinted windows.

Ever since I had my Lasik surgery done, my eyes have been very sensitive to light and the doctor who performed my lasik actually suggested I get tinted windows and signed one of these medical waivers for me.
