How much is a good deal for this?

I want to get a winter 4WD mini-suv and park my CL for the winters. I found a 2001 Honda CR-V LX 5-speed manual w/ 110,000 KM's or 66,000 miles. Condition seems good w/ no dents, scratches. It's black w/ gray cloth interior.

What would be a good deal for it?

I'd say $6K-ish. These things in manual trans are not nearly as popular.

Then again really depends on the condition and are you planning on keeping it for a long time?

6k-ish seems alright. they're asking about $8k (Canadian) which i thought was high. all the ones i've seen are automatic except this one and i prefer manual. i'm going to probably offer $6k, maybe $6.5k and if they don't take it, i'll save my $$$ and just drive the CL

I think that's the right thing to do. Why do you want a second vehicle anyways? It's cheaper to get a set of winter wheels.

ya, winter tires would be cheaper, but i want to save some life on my CL. I love that car and i'm about to hit 120,000 miles. also, it would be handy b/c sometimes i need something w/ trunk space and i've been borrowing a friend's mini-van and i feel bad about it

That makes sense. GL with negotiating on the CR-V.

I've seen some CR-V's with a lot more mileage asking $4-5 (mostly 1998 or 2000 2WD CR-V). But it's a buyer's market right now!
