How much do you think the dealership gave him?
 
I honestly don't know if it was really a trade in or not, but some serious rice nonetheless. Just felt like sharing.

In NJ, does the dealer take plates off the car at trade in? Here out west, full parking lots of trade ins have plates, since plates here go with car, not driver (unless personalized).

Not positive about NJ, but in MA plates go with the owner, not the car.

I'd bet it's an oil change/quick lube tech or someone in the detail shop. In my experience they're more likely to drive a bolt on masterpiece.

I believe the correct term would be a "stick on masterpiece" in this case.

I'm sure there's some bolt on engineering in there. Maybe a nice hot air intake and some flowmasters. That way it sounds faster without improving performance at all.
