Went in with my wallet for the whole V1/Bel65/X50 story. Just drove 180 miles to the shore n back. I'm not disappointed, cause my RD alerted to local cops as expected way out, but on the AC Expressway/NJ Parkway as people were already pulled over by NJ StateTroppers- there was no radar response at all as they were on the side of the road as i passed them by- assumed the Troppers had the brains n turned their radars off- hope others have the same story. All I got from this is that I will be hit with instant on x-Band from Philly to the Shore. In the end, I think I should prob do a couple more runs first on this type of highway.

NJ is 1 of only a handfull of states to still use X band. And they use it alot. Laser is being phased in as well. I've picked up troppers on 295 well over a mile hiding under an overpass, or on the overpass shooting laser at on coming traffic then radio to a car waiting up ahead.

Thats interesting and more than i wanted to hear(laser), what part of 295 and what RD do you have? Today I picked up two local cops from a local road, they were on a perpendicular highway(rt 73) over a hill and way down the road- it was high ground already with a hill higher than my car in front of me - was impressive, they had someone already on the side of the road, typical x-band pointing 90 degrees from where I was a 1/4 mile away.

Going to http://www.radardetector.net/ is kinda interesting like any other car board cause radar dectectors have turned a lot of drivers into video junkies in the same way street racers have their videos, etc. Pretty cool to see the x50, rx65, V1, laser jammers doing their thing under tough conditions. Was just into one vid where a member went through a laser speed trap with his laser jammer and rx65 over 10 times to measure performance which is awesome for people who want real world results, like epa vs real world gas mileage...aint nothing like the real world.
