Help with tires for mother's car

She has a couple tires that are pretty worn, and one of them has some pretty mean rash on the side, so it is definately time for her to get a new set. She drives a 2000 Toyota Solara SLE V6, stock 16's, with a tire size of 205/60/16.

We live in Southern New England (RI) so she needs something that will have a good amount of grip through the rain and snow. Something that will last her a while and still have a comfortable ride to it would be awesome.

She doesn't need anything high performance or anything, just a good all season tire.

Any suggestions?

continental contiextreme sport is a decent balance of grip, noise, durability, etc., check out tire rack's reviews.

I recommend the Nokian WR:

I have Goodyear TripleTred. They seem to work great for all-seasons. They are quite grippy in the winter, nothing like a winter tire, but VERY good for an all season. And when you drive on wet roads, they might as well be dry. Best tires I ever had.
