Help: Can't put gas into the tank for some reason
So, I was trying to put gas for my wife's car just now. It's an 2010 Audi A4 Avant.
For some reason, it's not working. I've tried it on different pumps and it's the same thing. Other cars were using the same pump without any problem that wasn't working for my car.
Any idea what's going on with this?

i dont remember what car it was, maybe the 1st gen TSX, there was a problem with a component in the tank and the car would think it was full way too early. i believe people turned the handle sideways and had to hold down the trigger on the nozzle. what happens when you insert the pump and squeeze it?

^ This has occurred to me with my sisters B6 S4 where the the valve (i think thats what its called) in the line thinks the tank is full, so it doesn't allow anymore to be pumped. One way around it is to hold the lever down as you pump the entire tank...
Does that work for you? (holding the lever the entire time?)

If you can't figure out how to pump gas into your car, you need to give up your man card.

Being that the pumps are massive and bolted to the concrete, you will probably not be able to flip the pump upside down anyway, Unless you have the Hulk riding shotgun with you.
....besides, I don't think flipping the pump upside down is going to accomplish anything for you anyway.

Try flipping the nozzle upside down instead of the pump.
