headers and steel rims
so.. i was wondering if a set of OBX headers would bolt up to stock exhaust piping.. want to keep the sleeper look and still gain power.. and i was also wondering where i could get 17x7 and 17x7.5 steel rims. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

One on the right for me
from what ive heard and experienced obx headers arent the best out there unless you like having them rewelded every once in a while. comptech makes a good header. you can probably find out more info if you post in the TL forum

They do for some vehicles, but if your trying to keep it a sleeper keep the stock rims, or use 16" steelies(which fit and are available) which will perform better - less rotational mass, axial inertia and unsprung weight, which are all very good things for gaining power and handling. But I would still stay stock to have a sleeper.

Unless you're putting a turbo or something in there, you're still not going to be considered a sleeper. Steel wheels won't make you have a ''sleeper'' if your car isn't that quick. A ''sleeper'' is something like a Civic with an engine swap and a turbo kit but with primer and three different types of wheels on the exterior, not a TL with headers. Come on now...

headers, pulleys, intake, a stock exhaust, and no fancy exterior shit would qualify it somewhat. it would eat stockers and they wouldnt know it was coming.

headers arent gonna give you enough gain to make you a sleeper. You'd pull on a stock tl-p but if you think you'd be taking type s's and surprising 350z's, then you should think again. You have a near luxury vehicle, you should keep it that way.

i wont be hanging with type s's without a full exhaust, headers, intake, pulleys, plugs, and more. theres really no way im gonna hang with a 350 unless i go turbo or supercharge it... a 350 is just to small, nimble, and quick for a TL-p.
