And not only is the MV-1 purpose-built for taxi duty, it was designed with the Americans with Disabilities Act in mind – the square-rigged design is built around a 56-inch by 36-inch door for wheelchair access, and VPG will fit MV-1s with either manual or power ramps as requested. The American-made, body-on-frame MV-1 will also be available powered by Compressed Natural Gas.

That thing is fugly! It looks like those TX4 taxis in the UK.... There actually is some rich-ass derp in the faculty garage who sometimes drives one of those around instead of his Bentley...

Thanks! The color is pretty much what sold her on it; it's called Midnight Garnet. After nine years, it was time for her to get something nice. Compared to the Highlander, this has leather/heated seats, intelligent key, auto climate, nav, Bluetooth, rear and around cameras, etc. My dad wants an M37x now (we still have a couple '13 models at the dealer I work at) since they are being advertised for $13k off MSRP.

Whoa, what in the shit... so is reverse not directly above 1st here? Looks like it's off to the left a bit. The only 2 cars I know of with 7-speed manuals are the Corvette and 911. And Chevy likes having reverse to the right and up. That doesn't look at all like a Porsche though.

The 1 to 2 shift would be a long throw. I like my setup where reverse is up and to the left (while holding up on the reverse lockout on the shifter), and a normal 1 3 5 on top and 2 4 6 on bottom.

The only car I've driven with a dog-leg like above was a Mercedes 190E 2.3-16.
Idea being that 1st is to start & you use 2-5 in an H-pattern. Or 2-7 in this case.
