Those things haul, i raced one in my old Audi A6, the one with twin turbo S4 engine in it, and it beat me by a small amount.

What does the limited package get you? or is that just the regular title of the GT?

Let the modding begin. That car with some wheels, body kit, drop and light tint would be one of the better looking cars on the road. It can made very fast too.

Nice Matt! Bring that thing up to the Seattle meet on Saturday. That'll take care of the break-in period.

nice car Matt. Quick question (I could do the research but figured it easier to just ask here), is this the same 2.5l engine as in the STi, just a smaller turbo? I always thought the WRXs were 2.0l and the STis a 2.5 liter with a bigger turbo. If this car has the STi's engine then I would think modding it wouldn't be too expensive.

Matt, are you only doing the piping and reflash for now because you want to keep the warranty? I would think that for more power the first thing might be to upgrade the turbo (understanding that it is not cheap). just curious.

I always catch myself looking at one of those and thinking to myself, "I'd rock that!"

Matt... I hate you!!!!!!

The STI rear springs will go right in... They are pink, but I hear it makes a big difference in handling...

the L-GT has the same 2.5L as the STi. I believe the turbo is the same as well, but the STi up-pipe is catless, the down pipe is different and the ECU tuning is different.

this car will be able to make nearly 300whp/wtq on the stock turbo.

my L-GT will be quicker than a stock STi by the middle of summer.

i have a little dash mounted Garmin unit that will get me by for now.

i plan on talking to VXCL about changing over to HID's. the stock projectors are pretty nice but they're the wrong color.

OK, here's the mod list for the next 45 days.

3M clear bra
35% tint
Perrin short shifter
PDX tuning stage 1 (up-pipe/dwn-pipe/reflash/panel filter)
Tein SSP w/ EDFC
18" wheels to go w/ the new proxes4 225/40-18 that never made it on the CL

needless to say, i'm stoked.

the stock mufflers look pretty sweet as-is, and i need this car to sound respectable enough to show real estate in.

the car will be a sleeper, relatively.
