Got an M....

M35, that is. Sorry to disappoint the Bimmer guys (me included)!

The wife and I decided that we could part with the XC since the 335xi could get us up to the slopes and I couldn't handle driving a wagon anymore. I'm not a soccer dad!

We were looking at used FX35's a while back and then recently TL's, 545i's and 550i's but for the money, I think we did ok.

Then....2002 Volvo V70 XC

Now....2006 Infiniti M35 Sport

Now I just have to switch to LED bulbs and squeeze some more HP out of this thing!

Hard time finding a m35 sport though. Congrats!

Congratulations once again cmark! Looks great with the sport package.

I remember a neat feature when I test drove the M45 back when they first came out, it had the Bose speakers right on the driver's seat next to the headrests. It drives like a smaller car for it's size as well. Enjoy her in the best of health.

Thanks guys.

This one happened to have the aero kit too so that was a nice bonus - front and trunk lip spoiler plus side skirts.

I'm not too impressed with the Bose system (the ones with speakers next to the head rests). The system in the Volvo blows it away. I might have to throw in a subwoofer.

Beautiful ride!
We decided on a FX35 instead of the M35 just a couple of months ago because we wanted the extra size and utility. However, my CL-S might be traded for an M35/M45 in the coming months!

Congrats on the FX! That was my first choice but I got vetoed by the breadwinner.

If you're thinking pre owned, the M's are priced pretty well. Good luck!

Yeah, the Mrs. will be driving it, so it was her choice really...which is fine with me since that means I get to pick what I want!

I've seen some 06 M35's around here for as little as $25k with 30k miles or less...it's like stealing...

He was nodding his head in agreement with you.
This is a M35 sport and it is a RWD.

He was just making note that M35x signifies the AWD.

at the dealership I got mine from, they had some 45's that were priced less than the 35 but they either didn't have the sport package or nav or tech or some other thing.

the M45 definitely had more power that you can feel but it wasn't quite worth losing 2 mpg.

if anyone is thinking of picking one up, you can even "certify" it so it can qualify for 3.9% financing for 60 months from Infiniti (we did but we'll pay it off faster)

If you don't mind me asking how much did you get it for?

Btw, I love the M35/45! Blows the RL and GS out of the water IMO....

For those who don't want a SUV, but want a larger car that is stylish and luxurious it's a fantastic package. Factor in that you can get a few year old M with low miles for mid-high 20's and its a down right steal.
