Is this a good deal? 240SX
I was in the market for a new car (well, a used car) and was looking at this:
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/car/322783713.html
I don't know too much about 240's, just the swaps available, model names, etc. Would the VLSD bolt up to just about any motor I can swap it with? And is this a good deal? I'm not a fan of body kits - though I actually like the front bumper, the whole fitment on the kit is off and I'll probably get rid of the sides and rear for something else. Gonna ditch those rims too and get another set. Will keep the KTS coilovers if they're still good.
Not getting it as a drift car but I might be tempted. Any opinions, suggestions... what should I look out for besides cracks in the dash (common problem with S13s)? I will test drive first of course, then try to knock some off the price. If I got it for $4000 give or take, is that a good deal? Motor mods are useless to me - I want it as a project car, so I'll do the work myself, and whatever motor is in there will hopefully be gone by the end of the year.
I'll try to update you guys as soon as I see the car in person.

I depends on the area mostly. Auto Trader has a bunch of decent stock '95 240's with high miles that people are selling for $3000. Yours looks pretty good and does have a fair amount of upgrades even though that's not what your looking for. Don't know much about the SOHC engine, but a lot of people like them. Good luck!
