Sometimes I take my grandfather for rides to get him out of the house. One time we took a trip on the highway, he didn't like how fast we were going, so he pulled the key out of the ignition and held it away from me for about a minute. We were going about 60 when this happened. Pretty scary stuff

I am reminded of my mixed emotions when I ride w/my son, torn between scolding him for driving too quickly or aggressively and wanting him to take down occasional G35s and TLs whose owners think they have something for his Alti 3.5SE.

I remember some times where my dad would take me out and "blow the carbon out" on the highway a few times in some of the faster cars he had owned... Good Times !!

an asshole from florida
my mom will actually walk places as opposed to getting in the car with me or my brothers and sometimes even my dad... she just doesnt trust anyone else driving.
my dad on the other hand is the driver almost 100% of the time because he loves to get on it

i went for a test drive in a prelude before i bought my cl, and i didnt know how to drive stick at the time. so my dad drove and he ripped through all the gears and was roaring in vtec haha. i still occasionally catch him doing 100 on the highway when my mom is sleeping.

Someday, an RS6 Avant+
I remember being a little kid and riding with my Dad in an old Oldsmobile he had. I remeber the needle going past 110, and my Mom saying "slow down, you'll get us all killed".
That Olds was a Vista Cruiser Wagon with a 350 (maybe a 305, I forget) under the hood (this was in 74', 75' timeframe). So of course, all the kids are not wearing seatbelts (hell, no one did then). I was hooked on speed at that moment, and still am.
I've never owned one of those monster horsepower cars, but eventually I would like to have something with that extra under the hood. Now if I could only get my Subaru 3.0 up to about 300-325, that would be very cool.
