i like it and everything but why do all the custom work of making a Charger into a 2 door when the Challenger just came out. Personally i would have waited and saved a lot of cutting and welding.

This car was made awhile ago. Way before the Challenger came out.

The Charger looks too fat, the Challenger would have made the car look better.

The point isn't to wait and buy one, the point was to make it...

This was done by some gear heads to tell Chrysler that Charger is suppose to be a 2 door coupe like original one. I'll try posting link to the article.

i don't like it. the general lee was built to handle anything, take it off jumps etc.. this car doesn't fit that at all, and it just looks , i thought the general lee had a pushbar etc not chrome trim everywhere
west coast customs attempt at a general lee = fail
just my tho

Why is everybody saying the Challenger is a better fit? The General Lee was a '69 Charger. Why would they make it a Challenger?

^cuz the challenger would be a better fit for the styling of the general lee. There is no resembelance from the new charger to the old one besides the name.

The '69 Charger was a 2-door "mid-size" coupe, like the present Challenger. The Challenger is closer to the '69 Charger musclecar in spirit than any other current Dodge/Chrysler car.
