What's crazy is that's basically a 4 door family sedan....now imagine what the new Roadster is capable of when it's a fully dedicated sport platform......it's not out of the question that the new Roadster could put up 720S numbers or better.....

The Town was on TV over the weekend. Great movie. This reminded me of that because the real-life robbers the movie was based on used the fastest minivans possible - mainly for all the cargo space needed for the loot. Pretty smart!

I've only ridden in one, driving it must be exhilarating.

900+ lb/ft to the wheels will do that for you. The thing wrecks dyno rollers.

i was driving the Big boss's X the other day. I didnt consider the acceleration fun ( look at the curve), not even a bit with my motion sickness. But i am sure most of the people would enjoy it

Not quite the same, but when I was working for the local Chevrolet dealer when in college, we had a customer bring in her brand new Equinox, claiming it made her carsick when she drove.
It was less than 50/50, but multiple of our techs also got carsick in it. Chevrolet flew a couple engineers out from Detroit & weeks later no resolution.

Turns out, the 4cyl Equinox (early 2nd gen) put out a frequency from the stereo to 'cancel out' the noise from the fuel pump (or fuel rail, can't recall), And this one was programmed wrong. GM bought it back & we sold it CPO.

I had no problem with it, but my good friend got a little carsick & we had a couple techs who didn't make it out of the parking lot in it.

Hmm, I wonder if there's are frequencies that can be played to negate motion sickness?

I know a few people who get bad motion sickness in the car, to the point where they prefer driving most of the time.

Funny enough, despite being an Asian woman my mom primarily taught me how to drive and that made me a really good driver. Any jerky movements would aggravate her motion sickness, so I had to learn how to drive smoothly from the very beginning.

But then I became annoyed when people don't drive smoothly...

I don’t find these images to be suitable for the Supra thread - in the interest of avoiding clutter - so I am going to dump them here instead.

I think this car is going to have promise in the tuner crowd and we will see some cool examples coming from those fronts.

I think the rear bulges on the new Supra is what probably isn't perfect? Again, I'm giving it time and I want to see it in person.

There’s gotta be something to tie it to the Camry Sport.

on the same boat... I think the front end is good and works and then you get to the back half and that’s where things fall apart.

You get a wide body version of this car and it could look hot - how about those Rocket bunny and LibertyWalk type of models, those could have some serious wow factor.

I must be in the minority, I like everything from the a-pillar back. It's the front that just kinda looks like this:

The GTR is an ugly monstrosity to me. Way too bulky, reminds me of a Rolls Royce Wraith. Giant car with slab sides. Still impressive for what it is.

+1 on the Supra's Alf nose, not a fan. I'm also withholding judgment until I see it in person several times.

The 2000GT though will be a classic. This thing they want to call a Supra but it isn't. Not so much.

I could do without the super tucked/slammed look, but overall not bad. The MKIV wing throwback doesn't look too bad.

Hilarious. Either people just do not give a F anymore or they are actually stupid.

The MK3 Supra came out in 1986, the 850 came out in 1990. Not even close.
