Such a shame that one isn't a manual. I miss mine a lot. That and my Prelude were the two cars I never should have gotten rid of

My check engine light just came on and it threw 2 codes. One is P0174 and P0171 which say bank one and bank two too lean and CPU can adjust the air/gas ratio. What could possibly be the problem???? Please help..,......

Fuel system issues; possibly the fuel pump. Or the O2 sensors are bad (unlikely for both to go out at once though).

I miss my CL so much...probably one of my biggest regrets cry: I even thought about trying to find an ABP CLS6 before I bought my S2000.

The best mods are getting the car fixed up. I don't care what car it is, a car that old is going to need work.

The outlook for the 1000mph Bloodhound SSC project has been looking bleak of late. Having gone into administration in October, it was announced a couple of weeks ago that a buyer couldn’t be found to save the endeavour. The assets from the effort were set to be sold off to repay investors - including the Bloodhound SSC car itself for £250k - making it seem as though the whole thing was over.

However, the team has announced some surprise news: Bloodhound has been saved thanks to “the successful sale of the business and assets”. Yorkshire entrepreneur and trained engineer Ian Warhurst snapped up the whole shebang, putting the land speed record attempt back on the agenda.

Perhaps understandably, the Bloodhound team has said that it is “thrilled,” calling the news, “The best possible Christmas present for the many supporters around the world who have been inspired by the project.”

The record car will be propelled by a Eurofighter Typhoon Rolls-Royce jet engine up to around 300mph, after which a hybrid rocket - fed by a Jaguar supercharged V8-powered fuel pump - would take over and hopefully punt pilot Wing Commander Andy Green to quadruple figures.

Doing so will - understandably - not be cheap. To hit 800mph - breaking the current 763.035mph record - will require £15 million being sent Bloodhound’s way, while going for the full 1000mph will need a £25 million injection of cash.

We should know more about plans for the project early next year.

Last I'd read the spec on the Bloodhound, it was using a Red Bull F1 engine for the fuel pump...

I got CarPlay installed at my dealer for $425 all in. It is a lot but I’m in it a lot and I can already see the benefits of the better UI. I think the sound of my music from Spotify is better and certainly the map apps are much better. I was hoping for more apps but the ones that are supported are helpful.

I won't buy another car without carplay or android auto at this point. I will say, though, AA is a bit of a mess. The controls are super confusing and it desperately needs an update.

What controls are a mess? It seems to work just the same as my (admittedly limited) time with CarPlay.

Out of curiosity how much easier is it vs using the UI on the phone and running the Bluetooth? I think I'd prefer using my phone to pick songs vs the car radio because typing for one thing and the angle of the radio (varies by car).

AA and carplay are must haves at this point, they are life changing. The UI is similar but I'd much rather use the screen in the car and not crash. Picking songs/playlists is the same.

It’s solid vakuenbut I do wish it had the 2.5T or diesel. Just needs a little more oomph.

So I got a new battery because old one was kaput but car still hesitates to start. Not sure if it's starter because sometimes I'll turn off car and then radio mysteriously turns on and doesn't respond to the buttons unless I restart the car. I've read electrical connections can be culprit. Battery is tight on there and there's no give. 2005 Accord.

Make sure the ground connection on the other end is good and tight...and not rusted.

Just make sure you disconnect the other end of the wire and don't become the ground yourself...

Correct, disconnect the positive from the battery, then the ground wire from the battery, then disconnect it from the car. I'm guessing you'll have to remove the battery to get to the grounding location anyway but just a safety comment.

Insane cars.

CaparoT1. 1 of 2 RHD Gullwing with that modern AMG conversion/update.... And a F40 with over 120,000KM (75k miles) and got basically a complete renewal/restoration to like new status and the odometer is reset to 0km....not sure how Japane law works but wonder how this would go down when you try to import it to other countries.....

This one.... 1987 Koenig Testarossa... V12TT 800hp..... one of my top fav cars from back in the day.... and while a good portion of it looks dated at this juncture... the back end........ this is supreme proper supercar.

That is the one

The rear fender flares are just perfection and it was such an outlandish notion to make a car as wide as the TR even wider, but they did it. And much classier and smooth execution compared to today's widebody stuff. Not hating on today's per se, it's just different.

This is the next version of the car, might have been called EVO, but yeah I think this is where my love for the Work Meister came from.

Considering it's Ferrari Classiche Certified, it will likely be noted that the engine was completely overhauled with the chassis to attain that. Everything was likely rebuilt as new over a 6-8+ month period.

Oh no doubt about the quality of the work in that regard. I mean it sounds like essentially a reborn/new car.

I was just wondering about legality of basically rolling back the odometer since I assume the vehicle has the same VIN...whether that's Japanese law or US laws....

I read the listing again, odometer was zero'd during restoration. I will ask a couple Ferrari experts though. Most vintage Ferrari restorations keep the original odometer readings.

I’m trying to figure out why the new Q8 55 Prestige is at least $9K more than the Q7 55 Prestige with the same options added. Does the Q8 have technology that the Q7 doesn’t?

And $99K for a Year One Q8 loaded with the Luxury package and extra tech is crazy.

How do so many people have $100K to drop on a car now?
