depends on the 12 year old. go fast in cars, get hot chicks, get lots of money, play with all the coolest/latest toys.

i think it was a benz ad that said...adults are basically kids with much much better toys.....

2008 Acura TL rattle

I have not replaced timing belt yet as well as tensioner rpms do not change at all the sound ends up dieing down when u drive for about 30 mins and vehicle warms up but comes and goes when I stop at a stop light or stop stop sign so seams to only do it when I accelerate after the car warms up.

I honestly don't give a crap what others think about my car. I'm obssessed with CTR!

This is my client's car. Absolutely love the look here.

But actually my first choice at the moment is Accord 2.0T 6MT. The car is HUGE and I can get it for $28500.

The only color CTR I want is CW and it's still marked up. All other colors I can get it for the sticker.

Hell yeah hyung. Buy a car because you like it, not because other people do.

The black CTR looks great! It looks aggressive in any color but CW just has the heritage behind it.

This CTR actually looks pretty good. Any pics from the back? That's the most offensive view.

It looks good that he covered up all the red accent lines on the exterior. I bet he still has that shitty looking fake CF body kit that comes standard on the CTR. Looks fucking awful up close.

I give the CTR 12/10 in terms of engineering. But I too could never drive that thing daily. It's an assault on the senses. And not in a good way. At all. The CTR is the first car I would look to get smaller diameter wheels put on. 19s vs the stock 20s. Why does a Civic has 20" rima anyway?

So much this. The big wheel trend needs to stop. I'm not even a huge fan of the 19's on my Golf, I'm looking to downsize to 18's.

The worst part of it is that even the large(r) brakes on the CTR don't fill up the 20's because 20's belong on Range Rovers, not Civics.

Agreed, I think the 19s are still a bit large, but on the W205, I think the 19" multispoke AMGs look better than the 18" 5-spoke AMGs on the Sport pkg C300s.

I get the feeling the CTR would not only be a wee bit better handling, braking and accelerating on smaller wheels, but replacement tires would also be a bit cheaper. Shiiiet... the CTR could have slightly better number All around with 19s vs 20s... widening the gap between it and its competitors.

He basically got rid of the fake CF lip and red pinstripe. I recommended this to him when I did his interior. And he went for it and looks 86000 times better in my opinion.

We will get rid of the fake CF interior panels later with Alcantara to clean it up more.

And just about every CTR who cares about looking good and making it go faster at the track are putting in 18x9.5.

It looks much better, grips more, rides better and yes the replacement option and cost of the 18 tires is so much better than 20s.

Added some Alcantara goodies to his interior. I actually don't like the OEM steering wheel with red inserts in the middle!

If somone told me 10 or 15 years ago that Civics would come with 20s stock one day, i would have laughed so hard

Ok that CTR actually looks pretty good. A combo of black to hide all the fake panels, smaller wheels, and pinstripe/fake CF delete go a long ways to making that car look a lot better. Also, the exhaust change is a welcome mod as well.

Send that pic to Honda and tell them to make one just like this, they'll sell even more.

Yeah!! The exhaust looks thousand times better.

I wouldn't provoke Honda like that, they would probably put another wing on the wing.

I really like what he did to that CTR, but why those wheels? I would go with something more unique.

I also would want Championship White, but I could sport Polished Metal. That being said, I've never seen Aegean Blue in the wild.

I dont know there are a few wheels that are so classic and timeless i would put them on any car. TE37 and BBS LM are just 2 of them.

I would do white on white 18" TE37... a true type R color But i would have to be in my early 20s to pull that off.

The steering wheel looks a million times better! Those red panels on the stock one are the worst looking part of the car IMO, plus the most difficult part to change. Well, can't reupolster it myself anyway.

Quick question, if you get sweaty hands, will your steering wheel with that material start to smell after a few months?

Probably!

You can clean the steering wheel, just need to properly dab it dry and let it air out completely so it doesn't look like crap.

I learned all that from looking into SS 1LEs

Yeah, those kinds of material looks cool on steering wheel but i've also heard it becomes swamp ass circular if you actually drive alot and not clean it well.

eddiex on youtube had a friend review/drive a ss 1le, dude drives the entire time with driving gloves....i totally understand, but makes him look like a d bag...lol

yeah, ss is more than enough and you get the mag ride suspension (instead of the spool valve racecar suspension). unless you track it alot or have a titanium spine.....

Alcantara becomes a wear and tear item once it's on steering wheel.

You can prolong the life by cleaning your hands or wearing driving gloves or cleaning it regular properly.

It's only like $400 so track guys do it once every two season.

And most people go for nappa leather on the sides and top and bottom Alcantara, then nobody has to worry about the wear on the driving grip sides.
