With the rear view camera (night vision), if you are driving at 10pm, you can see what your 3 month old is doing, instead of having to pull over, and check on your child.

Then again our 1987 Toyota Master Ace, had none of these features. It was mid engine, RWD, engine under the driver seat, dual sunroof, captain chairs that fully swiveled so you could play a card game on a road trip, and cool ice box.
Didn't think about, I've had to do that a couple of times already. LOL.

Probably something in $50k range.

She wants a smaller car since we will have big cars. The Avant was her car.

You come tell my pregnant wife to stfu and go check out a freaking Pacifica. It's just not happening.

I'm going to install 18x9.5 RPF1s on the Sienna hahaha Tires are way too pricey for 19s or 20s.

Yeah, it doesn't work against the thieves.

When I was thinking about the Buick TourX, my wife shot down the idea right away because it's American. Then I started showing her JD Power and Consumer Reports data and she changed her mind due in large part to the fact she had no idea that Buick was a top five brand in reliability categories most years.

How do you do that with a Pacifica? I don't know. I do know the top trim Pacifica is my favorite looking and engineered minivan on the market right now.

But then again my wife would rather drive Fred Flintstones's car than own a minivan ...
Yeah, it's just not happening. And I'm pretty set on Sienna too.

I vote C300 for her car
20s aren't too bad, 255/45-20 Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ on our Flex were around $800+install, IIRC. Fantastic tires, especially compared to the Nitto Motivo that were on it before.

haha it's not just that but yeah it's going well. It's a very niche business. Going up market helped a lot. Different crowd.

I had an interesting proposition at work today from a co-worker about using my lease benefits towards a LC; 36 months, 7,500 miles/year, for originally $1,135/month after employee discount. Apply my lease benefits and it's around $800-$900/month tops. That's before applying lease specials that just came out today. I originally considered a GS F but the residuals are so bad, it'd only be $135/month less.

Too early to seriously consider, but I may revisit it in December when the best deals are available.

I remember trying to find lease info on the GSF but could not find much.

So for a non-employee, GSF is about 1000 a month for 36/12k miles lease?

I think that's about right, but I will get you a solid answer today.

If you push for it & ask how dirty they're willing to get, your dealer may be able to take $10,000 off sticker to start. They're not moving, so come December 2 Remember, they'll be open to making deals on them.

someone paid $66k on a 90k msrp gsf
dealers getting 14,000$ from lexus to move it
(per most recent thread on CL)

He is the progenitor of the new age torture tactic called foodboarding.

He sews a person's anus shut and force feeds them. Then force feeds them more... and more... and more, until they finally give him what he wants, such as money.

My coworker just quoted it for about $1285/month just off hand; $10000 off could get it down a lot more but he doesn’t want to guarantee you that deal bc it has to be approved. He said with you being out in Cali, you can likely find a much better deal around that $1000/month.

It's a cool car and all, but I couldn't justify making a mortgage payment on a depreciating asset that you return after a few years

I'm stupid with my money. The instant my coworker said it wasn't impossible to get a $100,000 car for $800/month, my eyes lit up like a fat kid at the buffet.

$1000 mortgage payment? You are a lucky man

for the average 100k+ local car owner, who are paying $6500-8500 on a mortgage here, a $800 lease isn’t a big deal

now if one can find a mortgage for $1000 a month, a $99 fiat500E lease might make sense

I own an interior upholstery brand called SWEIDIT. www.instagram.com/sweidit

I quit my previous job and started this earlier last year. It's been growing very well. I work at home too. We basically use Alcantara and Leather to upholster any type of interior panels.

IIRC, he was also comparing the RCF to the LFA, which isn't really fair.

Is three dogs (30-50lbs) in the back of a GTI insane?

Should I just look at an Alltrack 6MT with a JB4 piggyback?

I don't think I can do another automatic as my only car.

Yes, GTi won't be good for three dogs. Alltrack would be much better!

At least the JB4 turns the Alltrack into a GTI (power wise) with 203whp and 233lb-ft at the wheels.

Although install/removal is a bit of a faff ...
