eh....well your CLS has an open differential.....it's a completely different car than the 6speed. Now of course the weight distribution can't be avoided but nonetheless....

just had to register to post this, but did anybody happen to notice in that 0-60run did you ever notice that when she runs 0-40mph(or like 38) it's 2seconds into it, then all of a sudden she lets off the gas- hence the drop in the speedo?

Didn't think so

...and if you don't believe me, watch it again. at 40sec. she starts the run, then at 42sec she's just below 40 and all of a sudden the speedo drops and she stops accelerating from about 43-45seconds or so. So yea, when we stop accelerating even a mclaren f1 can do 0-60 in 10seconds

what's a matter, doesn't anybody want to bash it for being slow once they realized that she let off the gas for a few seconds?

cl-s 6 speed is awesome but still cant hang with the rwd in the twisties. ive seen a 6 speed lose control during a turn very similar to how i wiped out in my auto

zapata with fair weather conditions and if you owned both the cl-s 6 speed and g35 coupe 6 speed, you will start to fall in love with the RWD aspect!!!!!

after getting out of a Z and back into my cl-s it does not feel right at all the more i drive both cars the more i understand how bad the cl-s handles in comparision to fwd and rwd

How can you lame guys on here even compare a CL or CL-S (Sh*t) to a G35 coupe. How can you guys rant and rave about a type of car that my mom wouldn't even drive. I know because I attempted to buy her one, but she would rather have a Lexus. More of a true luxury car. Acura has always been known for "Best Bang for da Buck", but its been called BORING waaaaaaaaaaay to often. CL is one of those weird 'in between cars'. Its not really super luxurious, but then its not really super sporty either. The CL seems to have an identity crisis like a hermaphrodite. CL is a nice ride, but its just too straight up boring. Please stop hatin' on the coupe, we'll just blow by you and brush you haters off like a piece of dandruff.

I went to your site. Nice pics. I notice you don't have any of the interior.... wonder why? Maybe because Infinity spent the money on the rest of the car, and then went "Oh shit, we forgot the interior. Aw fook it, just slap some cheap shit up."

I don't have any pics of my interior because I didn't do anything to it your moron. Why post pics of your interior when it looks like everybody elses? If I put in tiger skin seats, yeah...I would include a pic. Anyways, I notice your from BC, I suggest its time for you to get off that goooood bud you guys got up there and start livng in reality. Not good to post while your high man. CL is straight up gay, and your sadly living in denial if you think a lame FWD half ass sport sedan that they made w/ 2 doors so market as a coupe can stack up against a real coupe........ remember puff-puff- pass.....

This thread has gotten rediculous. Judging acceleration by looking at a speedomoter/tach without knowing what input the driver is giving to the car at the pedal/brake is simply retarded. Do some research (dyno charts, time slips, etc) and deal with facts. You will find your answers there, not with stupid little mpeg movies.

Um i used to have one too, it's a great car actually. Don't mistake my post for my joining in on troll fest 2003. I'm a car enthusiast, not a Z or G35 or Acura Cl enthusiast. These cock measuring contests are pretty gay IMO. What are all you guys trying to prove?

listen FAG! I wouldn't wish your (G)AY35 on a corpse, and here's why!

1. Shitty Nissan resale value
2. Your car isn't fully converted to left-hand-drive now is it?
3. Where's your memory seats biatch? both mine came standard(so when the grease monkeys have finished messing with my car, all I have to do is press a botton, and my setting comes back to normal, you on the other hand are fawked)!
4. FUGLY spoiler with the aero package!
5. :ghey: orange dash lights

I test drove the G35.

BMW Beater is is not.
Probably the ugliest LED's from the rear.
Your interior is like a Monogram model kit gone bad.
Your navi toggle is about as accurate as an Atari joystick.
Where the fuck is the memory seats?
Your engine is fun and it pulls hard, but not from a standing start it felt muddy until 20MPH. The stick version of the car is alot of fun.
Your brakes are too sensative, that opinion I've shared w/ more than one person.

Speak for yourself. I know there are huge differences. Your auto is not the same and if you wiped out then it was driver error. If you know the limits of the car and what it can and can't do then you shouldn't have wiped out. The 6speed has great handling if know the car and know how to utilize it. Now for track racing RWD is essential, don't get me wrong but for on the street and day to day use.....I'm sitting pretty.

Your interior is like a Monogram model kit gone bad

Your navi toggle is about as accurate as an Atari joystick.
- haha, yea, the joystick is a PITTA to use until you get used to it

Where the fuck is the memory seats?- I know

Your engine is fun and it pulls hard, but not from a standing start it felt muddy until 20MPH. The stick version of the car is alot of fun.

This has to be one of the dumbest things I've read....he compares one car's crank horsepower to another car's wheel horsepower....(unless an intake gives the G35 an additional 75hp...now that would be sweet!

I admit that some of the posts here are childish but its funny reading the G35 forum and they sound exactly the same but with a different car.

I agree with zeroday. I love cars and these "my car is better than yours" debates are pretty petty.

lol. you like your car, that's great, i like mine, i'm not here to put anybodys down.
but i'm not going to just sit by as everybody gangs up on it for doing a 0-60 run in 8seconds, esp. when she lets off the gas pedal for 3seconds

wow, the comeback wasn't much better either...

I will admit that the 8 second 0-60 posts were pretty bad. There is no doubt that the G35 is a low 6 second 0-60 car.

After re-watching the video, looks to me its Tranny lag and not a let off the gas issue. lol

Yea just like how retarded is it to even do a video, spinning tires, etc without flooring the car? If you were going to do that much, give it all the cars got. lol

At least we know a few CL-Ss in your area that would probably be gladly to hand you your ass. And take your keychain INFINITI emblem away from you .

Don't forget there are CL-Ss running low low 14s in autos with almost no mods except Headers.

Now for track racing RWD is essential, don't get me wrong but for on the street and day to day use.....I'm sitting pretty.
Don't forget that the CL-S was rated by some mag the best FWD handling car. It was right with the RWD BMW in tests

auto is not the same compared to what, a 6 speed? bottom line both cars are FWD and both cars have the same suspension stock for stock. I would love to give the edge to the limited slip differential but after witnessing how easily the 6 speed wiped out just like my auto proves that both cars behave the same in the twisities.

I didnt feel like losing control of my cl-s just for fun I dont even think i took the turns fast either.

what were they smoking???

they must have been comparing the cl-s to a 7 series.

no way in hell a cl-s can handle better then a 3, 5, or z series!
