I've been really thinking about this one. The weight's the same, gearing the same, but hp goes up, torque down a tad, but rpm redline is up. those who have driven it said tq comes on strong after 4,000rpms till redline, where as the pre 05's just died up top. Id say mid 13s is possible, but what do I know. can't wait to see a dyno, in case its underrated!

My local dealer has a few 05's and I am not really liking the new wheel pattern. I prefer the 18's in the polished finish.
I think the G35c 6MT Laser Red/Black/Aero is pure Sex!! I'll be looking again in the next 2-3 years

I dunno, that exhaust note in the infiniti v6's sounds sweet. Heard an fx35 take off in the city and had to turn n look to see what it was, they tuned that exhaust sound perfect. The more they tune that engine, the higher that whine will get which is the best part.

the only thing i dont like about the G35c is that clock. analog clock, with the hands and all? to some it may be a nice touch, but i would rather have a digital clock than the hands.

The stock exhaust sound on my 2005 350ZR is pretty sweet... and that's basically the same setup on the G35C. That 3.5L engine is just about the perfect V6 IMHO.

But they did realize they placed it wrong in the G for the previous years. Moving it back was a smart choice.

Low 14's to high 13's. A competent driver has alot to do with it.

I live in Bolingbrook. I think the Lisle Infiniti dealer is closest to where I live.

I believe that. The only way to make more power from a fixed displacement engine is to make it be more efficient at high rpm which usually causes the peak torque to lower and show at higher rpm and the peak power to show at higher rpm.

I think that's a nice touch. It's a Maserati copycat but it's still a nice touch.

Another 35HP from this engine and it'll match the current M3 in power

It will probably have to spin to 7400 rpm to do it, but I am sure it's possible.

Wishful thinking.

when do you want to do it?

motorwerks of barrington, has the most friendly dealership, and might even with a little coaxing, let me and you taken coupes for a spin alone in the country side, with lots of twisties.

still would need more aggressive gearing to match the M3's acceleration.
