My vote is for the Maxima. Not my favorite car in the world, but then again it wasn't beat with an ugly stick.
Edit: Then again, the new G35's aren't bad either

I'll vote for the following:
AWD
1. 3 series xi - 335xi sedan is sick and the 328xi wagon can be pretty pimp if you dress it up correctly, inside is a bit on the smaller side in the 3's but the wagon offers good storage room and with only 2 kids would be spacious enough. Fun as hell to drive too, even in automatic.
2. A4 or even A6 quattro - again, sedan AND wagons are nice and can be very sporty looking/feeling
3. CTS (I'm 99% sure they offer AWD on it now) i think we all know its a great car but I will never buy american if i don't have to.
4. Subaru Outback XT - pretty fast turbo engine and low price @ appx. $33k loaded

... not big into fwd anymore and I don't like the 09 TSX or Maxima
