Whoops.... this thing(maybe me) accidently posted

I didn't finish the thread.... I was jumping back and forth getting pictures, stats, writing stuff and this thread must have been accidently posted!!

The thread title was because when I pushed the "preview thread" button... a screen popped up saying "you must have a title to this thread" ... hence my quick "fu".. just so I could see if the preview of the thread.

I was actually writing this thread for a few hours, coming back to it and adding stuff, adjusting stuff, never really finished it though... I had the thread open in my browser with the intent on finishing it today, only to come home to my computer rebooted due to a power outage, due to rain...

This is kinda ironic, now I can acutally finish the thread properly... I would imagine the thread is mostly full of pictures and stats without much else.. I was planning on writing something to go along with the pictures..lol

Cheez, what a pompous blowhard!

I would say that if you are going to learn how to race, then yes, start with a smaller displacement bike. This will force you to concentrate on the fundamentals, like setting up your line and braking at the right time.

But if you are simply talking about street riding, I say always buy more bike than you think you need, because once you get into it, you are going to want more. Specifically, more torque.

Those 600cc crotch rockets are cool, but not particularly comfortable for everyday riding. Gimme a nice Ducati twin anyday.

Just my
