this indicates something about the current state of the market and the economy, not the car...

not IMO, the new roof line doesn't look good at all. And not much more aerodynamic. The FRC wasn't much different then the standards on the C5, maybe 2-3 mph

Then again, I could be biased
there's a guy I autocross with he has a special edition Z06 it's the last year of the C5 it's that awesome looking blue with (i believe) a carbon fiber hood. It's amazing set up because not only does it look good but it also performs well. BTW: that blue c5 is the hottest stock vette (even better than the new Z06). I don't like the new Z06 to much of a Viper look a like. plus the stock chrome wheels are wack.

I am eager to drive the C6 Z06 to see how much better it is than the old car. I really liked the old one, so the new car will have to be pretty darn good.

The Z06 is cool. I like it more for the performance than the looks, but it does look nice.

If this thing had a Ferrari badge on it, I would likely think it was the sweetest ride on the planet. Unfortunately, it's a Chevy. After my last drive in a BRAND NEW Malibu rental (where 3 separate parts broke during the trip), I was reminded why I will never own a GM vehicle.

The 3 months I spent working at a GM factory surrounded by the laziest, whiniest, most overpaid workers I have ever encountered are what initially inpired me to make this vow. Every encounter with a GM vehicle or dealership since has only reinforced my opinion.
