Ferrari 308 GTS (and other trip pics!) - lots of photos!
hey everyone--
I just took the TL on a roadtrip to Lexington, KY for a veterinary rotation/family visit/vacation (kinda) and just have to share some photos! Most are of a 1978 Ferrari 308 GTS that belongs to a friend of mine in Ohio...
(my car of course had to be in one photo..!)
(that's me in the driver's seat...I'm in heaven!)
and here are some photos just from the trip (I know...not as exciting!)
the Ferrari was perhaps one of the highlights of the trip...has a great sounding engine and of course there were plenty of stares everywhere we went. Was awesome! My friend's daily driver is a 2001 Honda Civic (seen in the garage next to the Ferrari!).
The TL of course was perfect for the long drive. Saw some TLs and other Acuras, but don't think any were forum members..oh well. Had plenty of people try to race me and plenty of people also just stayed with me for hundreds of miles...taking turns at the lead! Saw some awesome cars including a McLaren-Mercedes SLR in New Jersey of all places...
Well, anyway, thought I would share the photos! Enjoy...

Wow the Ferrari has Navi?
J/K
I drove a 308 - it was pretty slow which disappointed me.

One on the right for me
when i was a little younger (cause im so old now...) i used to hate the look of any ferrari except the new ones (so say 1995 on) after spending more time looking at their older models i dont think there is any ferrari i wouldnt consider purchasing (maint. aside) they all seem to have a classic look to them, and an exhaust note that is fucking awesome

I love my TL, and know it could take it...but it's a totally different animal to compare to..
