favorite brands of fuel and least favorite brand(s) of fuel?
I know everyone likes cheap fuel but put that aside.
what brand(s) do you perfer if they are priced about the same:
my favorite: Marathon. I used to put Shell in but seem like all the local Shell stations but 2 either converted to Marathon or went under. I haven't had any issues with Marathon fuel. Plus dad told me Marathon fuel is what Honda puts in the cars coming out of the factory.
least favorite: Sunoco. I ran that 2 times in my Accord it ran like crap. plus the mileage sucked with Sunoco fuel. once I had the chance to get Sunoco about 10 cents cheaper a gallon I drove 10 miles farther to get Marathon fuel. bottom line my Accord hates Sunoco.

The type of gas I use totally depends upon how high I want to get or how much I can actually huff in one hour.

Least favorite - Shell.
Always more expensive in my area and they hung on to MTBE beyond everyone else. One of their pumps ejected itself from my new TSX a few years back and dinged the fender too. I'll only go there if I absolutely have to.

^ Ironic.
I actively look for Shell whenever I can find it. Michigan premium fuel (93 octane) ... far better fuel economy than 'equivalent' fuel in Ontario, Canada (91 octane).
Other 'favorites' is gas from Costco (since it is the cheapest I can find in Michigan).
Least favorite: Sunoco. Overpriced for 94 octane and no benefit in fuel economy when I used it the one time I added to my TL-S.

Shell for me, but every once and a while I'll go to QT. They actually had the highest rated fuel in Arizona recently. It's cheap too and my car seems to get better gas mileage with it, so I might start going there instead of Shell. Mobil's not bad, either.

I only use BP. There is a station about a mile from my work which is in Lake County...the gas is always at least $.15 less than the stations in my county (Cook)....If on a road trip: Exxon, BP only.

Gas from Costco and ARCO work fine in our vehicles as well.

I use Shell because it's the closest station with decent prices and because V-Power sounds cool .
However, I do my best to NEVER use Citgo even though their gas is always the cheapest because they're owned by the Venezuelan government (i.e. Hugo Chavez).

in the past... I'd usually go Chevron... I'm a sucker for that "Techron" additive they supposedly have in the gas... but now-a-days... I go where ever's cheapest... like Costco.

I always fill up at QT because they're always the cheapest. They're also one of the Top Tier stations.

I used Costco for several months but I definitely noticed lower gas mileage and a difference in power when using it. At first I wasn't sure if it was the gas so before I stopped using it totally I decided to go to another brand for a month test the power and mileage and then switch back to Costco for a month and sure enough my mileage was lower and my car felt sluggish so I no longer use Costco.
