On a road trip during winter or summer, in case of a flat tire (e.g puncture caused by sharp object) normally people will put on the spare tire or at least try to (if they don't know how to). But have you guys ever thought of purchasing a emergency tire repair kit? Ever heard of "Airman"? If not, what are the common brands? From what i know about "Airman", it sounds like a pretty convenient product. What do you you guys think?

Weird. I just bought a can of Penzoil 'Fix-a-flat' an hour ago. Was planning to look into tire repair kits like this one this weekend.

 

BMW puts kits like the one in that link in all their M cars since there are no spares. It works pretty well from what I've seen but it sucks getting that chemical crap off the wheel when you have to put the new tire on.

 

3rd gen Miatas don't have spares either. You get a can of fixaflat and an electric pump. Haven't had to deal with that yet, but I bet this is going to be more and more common.

 

HmmmHmmmmm... Victor and Bell tire repair kits are the best 'round, F that Airman garbage. Autozone, Wal-Mart and Checker Auto carry them. And I'm not just saying this because I work for the company.
