Elise + TL + CL Photoshoot
blue CL is TimeForSleeep's, blue Subbie is Kensukikatayo's, TL is mine, and the Elise is our friend's.
Equipment used: 350D w/ 18-55 and 28-105 for most of them and a couple with 30D w/ 17-40; our hands - yes no tripod nor rigs!
Results filtering down from ~900 shots + light editting done in photoshop (no special effects added)... enjoy!!

Dude... those pics are AWESOME!! great talent... especially the photoshop work with the blur.. very nicely done.. u know when to use wat huh... plus these shots are magazine quality.. i can see one of these in the front of a car magazine easily! especially the brake/rim/rotor shot of the elise..
after the teaser pics.. i actually went on ebay to buy the 350D and i got shutdown by my other half
... i wish i can take pics like this of my car and put it up...

you sure are good @ making me feel good haha! 
thanks bud. i actually didnt add any blurs to the shots... all the effects you see are what was captured. the only thing i tweaked a bit in the photos are the brightness/contrast/colors.
sad to hear about the rejection from picking up a dslr, hopefully in the near future there'll be an opportune time for ya
we actually wanted it to rain to get some nifty effects but being socal that we are in... it cleared up VERY quickly. the clouds did add a nice background/sky though

HOT! what were your settings when you were taking the rolling shots? shutter speed, iso, f-number? and how'd you pull off the rolling shot completely in front of the elise? extreme out-the-window action?

lol i feel like such a picture whore this week. i didn't know we'd take that many photos @ the meguiars thing though lol.
ohmigosh. i absolutely love how the shots came out. that was a really LOOONG but really fun shoot. huge thanks to jon for taking the gorgeous pictures (and making my car look cleaner than it actually is) as always, kenny for making me laugh with his hair, and daniel for bringing out that car with the most amazing soundtrack ever. (hearing that exhaust was SECTS).
oh yeah, and for all three for helping me play pit crew and put on my rims last minute in no time @ all lol.
what's wrong w/ the rainguards lol.
got anymore of the static shots comin' out jon? (btw that wheel shot of the elise is fuckin' gorgeous).
btw, we didn't pan for the rolling shots. for the turning shots we actualyl drove around in circles @ 5mph until we all got dizzy.
and i drove jon's car to get the rolling shots @ about 15-20mph while the other car followed. Jon and kenny stayed in the trunk while jon took photos and kenny made sure the trunk didn't destroy jon's face lol.

haha how can they pin it on you. did you get a police report? its pretty obvious its their fault if they ran a stop sign...unless you arent telling us the whole story.

i hope it all goes smooth with insurance process. it usually lags and sucks.
and props to Jon and his crazy stunts in order to get the right angle for the picture. a good photographer does what he can.

It got towards about 5pm though and people were leaving work lol. That's when we decided to stop pretty much lol.
it was actually pretty funny though having people straight up turn around and follow us and watch as a car cruised down @ 15 mph on a 35-40mph road with two asian guys in the trunk.

Well the story goes like this. I was headin down a residential street between 25-30 and as I'm coming up on this intersection this huge Suburban pulls out of the stop sign as I'm 20 feet away from it. I turn left while constantly honking and slamming on my brakes and the dumbass doesn't go any faster to avoid me so I hit their rear right in the middle of the intersection. They're trying to say I was driving too fast for the conditions (raining). They suck...
Anyway: I was going to trade it in for a 07 Legacy GT in a few months... but if all goes well, I might as well trade it in now. I'll let you guys know.
And back on topic with the shoot. The shoot was awesome. Trying to stay in the trunk with Jon to hold the trunk up was quite weird but hilarious. Tim was watching all the people's faces as we passed by with 2 asian guys hanging out of a trunk trying to take pictures of a sickass Elise but we're all driving 10 mph. Haha!
Got dizzy when we were spinning around in circles getting those moving shots that look like were autocrossing with no cones.
Anyway: I was going to trade it in for a 07 Legacy GT in a few months... but if all goes well, I might as well trade it in now. I'll let you guys know.
