What's up everybody?! It's been a while since I've been on AZine, so I wanted to come on back & give y'all an update. After several years of planning, searching and waiting, I was able to acquire my dream car on 12/23/15...2012 NISSAN GT-R Premium, Super Silver Metallic over Black leather with just over 16k miles on the clock. It's currently bone stock (which is a hilarious term for this car, because it doesn't need anything ) I of course still push my TL daily & still love that car, no need to get rid of it!

Current personalization:
-Clear JDM Nismo front corner markers with 5000k ultra white LEDs
-Black RAYS racing lugs

Upcoming plans:
-25% tint
-New tires (Pilot SS of course)
-Mid-pipe
-HKS drop-in intake filters
-Possible clear bra on the front end

This has been my unicorn for quite a few years and I have been figuring out how to get my hands on one for some time. This beauty was sitting idle for about 9 months until it came into scope financially and I worked with my buddy to pull the trigger & have it shipped to CO from IL. It is by far the sickest car I've had the pleasure to drive on a recurring basis. Violently quick (the boost delivery will make you short of breath if you aren't careful), handles like lightning and surprisingly comfortable as well. And it hurts necks everywhere it goes Oh, and it has a freaking iPod connector! I'm stoked about that since the TL doesn't have it and it's a new experience lol! Interestingly enough, the maintenance won't be all that bad either (it pays to have hookups lol!). Onto the PICS! Please excuse the poor cell phone quality, I'll have some proper shoots done as the weather gets consistently warmer around here...

Hmm...well I was actually going to trade the S2k in for a GTR in a few weeks but I have an Android phone...now hearing that it has an iPod connector, I just called the guy and said I'd pass since it wouldn't be compatible.

Lol! You KNOW!! I actually haven't seen many of the silver ones in the refreshed body style (2012 and up), it's been mostly the first gen R35s. And there are a bunch here in CO. Still turns heads a LOT!

LOL!! Yeah, those LED DRL fogs are standard on the 2nd gen R35. They are sweet!!

I'm 6'1" and I fit no problem. My buddy also had a 2012 a couple years back and he's about 6'4", no problem fitting either. You'll be fine! JOIN THE BATTALION MAN!!

Especially above 4k RPM when the boost really hits....holy hell!

I should probably clarify that it has a USB port...so you're OK with Android lol!! I just plug in my iPod nano cuz I'm old school The stock exhaust tips are 5.25" diameter. Beefy! Just can't keep them clean for long...a lot more soot from a twin turbo setup, even stock with only 10-13psi of boost! Octane booster mixed with Shell 91 seems to help though.

It's still stock minus an Alpine headunit but I'm hoping to get some parts on it this summer. It'll be OEM+ like my TL was since I can't/won't spend thousands on baller wheels

While the R35 isn't my *favorite*, whenever I see one, I get a bit giggly. I saw a couple on the streets this past week and got to take in the aural pleasures as well... So nice!

Congrats on acquiring your dream car! I really like that silver. I like the relative "plain-ness" of the silver over the beastly profile and underhood grunt.

Greetings friends! Thanks for the kind words so far. Since several posts have asked for more pics...here ya go! I'm taking her for tint tomorrow, so I'll definitely snap some more shots after that's done.

Sonax Plus Wheel Cleaner & Wheel Woolies 18" contoured brush...as you'll see, brake dust is a major consideration with this beast. This purchase was definitely worth it.


All the blood red/purple is the cleaner reacting with brake dust while removing it...nasty!!
