I'm hoping to go test drive with my wife soon... and if she likes, we'll go from there. I'm assuming no problem with shipping to NC?
We do have a local connection, but who knows if he'll come through... so want to get my ducks in a row. Thanks

Considering I paid 70 for my 2010 with 1500 miles over 18 months ago, those prices are great. Considering there are early 09's that people paid 70 for brand new that are still worth 60's, those prices are awesome.

Our scores are actually back up into the 700's, but the Ch 7 as a result of the businesses makes some people nervous. We were able to get a loan on the E350 in Jan of 2011 though, and through a large institution, so who knows. Seems pretty hit or miss.

Still love the A5/S5 although I would think with the 2.0T in it that it might seem a little under powered.
The ML63 AMG are crazy. My buddies boss has one and he said he took it to the local track and beat a guy in a Vette with it.

Q for you Shoofin.
I have a 2007 Infiniti G35x. 75K miles. Premium/Tech packages with Nav..so every option available that year.
How much could a dealer get for that car? Say if i trade it in for 14K...what will they then sell it for ...17K?

Hard question to answer. Of course I would try to sell it for as much as possible. The way things have been lately though, people want to buy it for less than I own it for, but let's say I owned your car for $14k and I don't have to put a penny into it, I would probably put it for $16,995 or something. It also depends on the retail market though, if it's possible at all to capitalize a little more.

My first Avatar....
See, what people don't realize is that dealers have to warranty a car they sell. We're looking to sell cars, and the consumer is looking to buy a car for the best price. Some people would think that a dealer making $2k on a used car is a lot and they should be working on a smaller margin, but here's the thing...Let's say I sold you a car and made $2k on it. I have the car thoroughly checked out and everything is perfect. Can you predict if you're going to get sick in the future? I doubt it... 2 weeks later the transmission goes on the car. You come back to me with the problem. I am obligated to fix it. How much is a transmission rebuild? $1500? Now my $2k profit is all gone. Point I'm making is that we sell cars to make as much as possible, but are also obligated to guarantee the car (in my case for 90 days) to insure that all is well with the car. Once those 90 days are up I can rest easy. 95% of the cars I roll don't come back with problems, but once in a while, shit happens, and I have to make right. Capisce?
