Do yellow foglights entice street racing?
I want to say three times now I've had people (drivers and bystanders) attempt to get a race to happen...
So, tonight I was on my way to pick up something, and a matte bkack wrapped newer Corvette pulls up to my left, were both stopped at a light... To my right, and ahead by about 100', theres a bar, and in the parking lot, some young guy, between 20-30, gets up by the sidewalk, and raised his arms, like the girls in Fast & Furious... He did this twice...
In fact, I didnt even notice it at first...
I dont think the Vette driver ever saw him or his gestures...
And that brings me back about two months ago, soneone in a new-ish Dodge Challenger brake torqued a bit, and took off alongside of me, maybe 1/3-1/2 throttle, we kept up!!! To about 20-25 mph... It was nothing...
I may have had another run-in, I can't remember off hand, but this never used to happen before... Really, the CF wrap on the hood isn't visible at night really, or even at all much, my other mods aren't much visible either, the only thing that makes since are those yellow fogs beneath the HIDs, that's it... I mean, who would race an otherwise stock RDX, really!!!
On the other hand, the RDX kicked down just as I'd like while getting in the interstate tonight...
Oh, and an Altima and a new Sonota passed me going about 90-115 mph, freaking crazies!!!

Yellow foglights do not entice street racing. Neither does a fake CF hood.
They were most likely enjoying themselves. Had nothing to do with you.

All fog lights should be yellow from that factory. I'm not sure why they are not. Yellow light provides for the best visibility in foggy conditions.

It's because Honda/Acura fog lights offer best in class lighting and visibility. Honda/Acura is fog lights king when it comes to performance.

For me to get to my bulbs, I'd have to lift it, pull the wheel liner, blah, blah, it would take all day, I just wrapped them instead, but I want to maybe have them re-done later on...
Do it!!!
It gives excellent contrast to the OEM HIDs, and gives the vehicle an overall "crisp" look!!!
Needless to say, I couldn't live without either matched, or yellow fogs... But unless done exactly right, yellow comes out better!!!
But seriously, do it, don't hesitate!!!

I have put yellow film on every car I've ever owned with foglights. And I will continue to do so. I love the look.
If the car doesn't have fog lights, like my 06 TL, I change the DRL bulbs to yellow

Any mod can entice an idiot to want to race. I get this near daily. I dont even drive fast so its the look of my car that gets it. Mostly from people in cars i know are faster. They tend to have ricey loud exhausts and black wheels.
I just shake my head and give them a thumbs down. Sure most of the time their car us faster but it almost always looks like a piece of crap.

People like to put alcohol and sake on their tables but I dont drink and thought this was a funny take on people putting illegal goods on their tables that they only set up for a picture or at a meet.

Technically it is contraband that should not be posted here. I deleted my original post a while back when I realized this. It's a front dash table with a butane torch and oil rig for smoking BHO. People like to put alcohol and sake on their tables but I dont drink and thought this was a funny take on people putting illegal goods on their tables that they only set up for a picture or at a meet.
