Do the new M3's have a fuel cut off?

Do the new M3's have a fuel cut off?

I read somewhere that the new m3's have a cutoff, but this kid we went to HS with has a black one and he said he did 168??
I smell bullSH%t??

Cutoff is 155 on the M3, so unless there is a software modification.....your HS friend is wrong or full of shit.

It was speedometer error. They read high by about 10MPH. I had an M5 to an indicated 165, just shy of where I expected to hit the governor.

not true mt got 165 mph for the m5 even though it was limeted. They tested it along with base model corvette. so i'm pretty sure the m3 could go 165. btw MT said it cut of at 165,these speeds weremeasured by the radar.

Speedo error, true speed was 157. Check the facts, they said that it was 10 mph high.
