do i change the thermostat to get more heat??

ok the wifeys old accord 1995 4cylinder 5 sp, does not throw much heat, even when warmed up.
i guess there are 2 options,
1, a new heater core or flushing
2, a new thermostat

the reason i am thinking a new thermostat is that it may be like a 165 degree one where i may need a 185 or 195 degree one.
obviously the thermostat would be cheaper but any input would be helpful

The heating system has little to do with the thermostat in the radiator system. Mark that off.

When you say doesn't throw much heat, are you talking about the blower or the temp coming out? Blower motor could be going, a relay switch, or other things.
